Puppy Party was Pawfect!

Over 280 students have participated in a 'Puppy Party' in aid of Guide Dogs UK . Hosted by the students from the talented and gifted programme, students were able to come and interact with twelve guide dogs (either in training or retired) as an exam de-stress day. This event was coordinated by Anna Rose B., a year 12 TAG student, and eight volunteers from the year 9 and 10 TAG programme, helped to run it. Gemma Spencer, Community Fundraising Relationship Manager for Guide Dog UK, said of the event "Thanks so much for having us in, all the volunteers enjoyed themselves, plus the dogs! We had some lovely feedback that the students are a credit to the College. They were very respectful of the dogs and pups, and were very interested in hearing our stories. £116.85 was raised which was brilliant!". Thank you to everyone who helped to contribute to the success of this 'paw-fect' event.
