Students compete in National Raspberry Pi Awards

The Frome College team Downpipe Downpipe Doo was one of 24 finalists in the national Raspberry Pi competition. The team consisted of Jack, Ted, Oren, Jacob, Eric and Thomas who worked for three months creating an invention to transform energy consumption. Their invention was a water wheel that fit in a gutter pipe that could be daisy chained so that water flowing over the water wheel would generate electricity to run small systems such as lights or phone chargers. They were one of 24 teams out of 200 that entered the competition to reach the national final. Congratulations year 9 TAG team of Downpipe Downpipe Doo.
