Rotarians donate benches for SEND students

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Rotary Clubs of Frome and Frome Inner Wheel, SEND students at Frome College now have benches to use in their outdoor spaces. Rebecca Beveridge, Deputy SENCO said “We recognised that our SEND students did not always feel confident in using our outdoor spaces at college and we realised that we needed a bespoke area. Our first step was to provide seating for our students where they would be able to eat lunch, have a space outside to regulate if needed and simply be able to talk with their friends in our lovely College grounds. The Rotary Clubs of Frome and Frome Inner Wheel once again stepped up and have very kindly donated these beautiful wooden benches which have allowed our students to do just this, and we could not be more grateful for their generosity.”
