Hot Chocolate with the Principal Term 1 2021-22
New for this academic year, Hot Chocolate with the Principal is the highest weekly reward available to students at Frome College. Each week staff are asked to email Mrs Reynolds with their nominations for any students that they feel have gone above and beyond what is expected of them, in and outside of the College. Mrs Reynolds then chooses the winner(s) and invites them to her office to share a mug of Hot Chocolate, where they chat about their achievement and goals.
Imogen won first place in the Ilfracombe U16 Girls Single Tennis Tournament in the Consolation Draw. Imogen should actually play U14 but as a challenge, and to gain experience in the next age group, she entered higher graded tournaments against seeded tennis players.
Daisy passed her Grade 6 Trinity Piano exam over the summer attaining 100%. Mr Hampson has never heard of a student achieving 100% in a music exam before - it’s very rare!
Well done for your hard work on the allotment!
